Tips - Pink Stripped

Inspired by a Pinterest nail art manicure I saw, I decided to try it.
It turned out just ok.Nothing like what I expected.
But again, what ever does?
The rhinestones drove me insane all day at work and even took a pretty hard beating.

Tips - Black & Whote Polka Dot / TipFrench Tip Dip Wars!

The best tool ever is having a dipping war!

Here is what I went for...

All Wet N' Wild colors (black and white)
Oh, and if you're near a Rite Aid, check them out...might be on clearance. I got mine for $0.69 each!
I use these two colors so often and they are the best IMO so I stocked up and bought all they had :-)

And just for giggles, just the white tips (not, the white stripe on the black tips isn't with the tool - that was clearly freehand by a wobbly hand) ICKY stained nails! EWWWW!

Oh right, I also stamped the flutterby and pinned a rhinestone.
I feel like Im repeating everything!
You all have seen all these techniques so do I really need  to explain it all?
Naw! Just ask if I don't say something you want to know :-p

Animals - Panda Bears

With some more inspiration from Simply Rins, I decided on Panda Bears.
I added a colored background as well as mouths on them. No where near perfect like hers but still cute :-)
I also added a Bamboo accent nail because no Panda is complete without food!

*OPI Red
*Sinful Colors Envy
OPI Decades of Shades

Holly Tips

Came across a gorgeous manicure picture, but of course, I've since forgotten where I saw it.
Decided to give it a try. Granted my Holly leaves came out looking nothing like the real thing, the berries have saved the look so you can actually get the idea of what I was trying to accomplish lol. Still came out pretty. Very feminine to me.

The products I used
*1 coat ORLY Twilight
*1 coat Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Whirlwind White tips
*Sinful Colors Envy + Color Club Object of Envy for Holly leaves
*Off brand red round rhinestones for berries

Day 29 - Holiday

I started this challenge later than most so I assume day 29 Supernatural was for Halloween. Well, I just can't do that so here I stray from the path. I'm doing holiday instead.
I painted these earlier today because I broke a nail and so my ugly flag mani just looked even worse and I couldn't do a Scentsy party in that condition :-p
I was a tad bummed that even though I applied a top coat on top of my red before I added the white flakes, they STILL turned pink on me. Oh well, still a cute manicure!

The final result:

The products I used:
*2 coats Sinful Colors Sugar Sugar
*1 coat on accent nail of China Glaze Love Marilyn
*Kiss nail art paint in white and silver

Day 28 - Inspired By A Flag

Happy December 1st!!
I thought this manicure would be easy. I decided to go with the Italian flag to support my roots!
It started out red base with white tips...looking like a candy cane.
The I added a green tip over the white tips....now looking like Christmas.
Then I added some black accent dots...finally looking like a watermelon!
Ug, really! Nothing ever looks the way I expect.
So here are my Italian Flag Candy Cane Christmas Watermelon nails! YAY!

The finished product:

The products I used:
*2 coats NYC Madison Ave
*Wet N' Wild Fast Dry SeGreena the Teenage Witch tips
*Wet N' Wild Black cream dots

Day 25 - Inspired By Fashion

Once again, I changed my mind on design at the last minute. It looks a tad funny with square nails but I refuse to round them out just for one manicure (sorry, I prefer square).
Add a shaky hand and this mani is no where near perfect but still totally cute because it involves the only type of fashion I'm really into...shoes! Not just any shoes like girly sandals or slip ons or flip flops.
I'm no girly girl. I like chunky guy shoes. You won't find any high heels in my closet :-)

My final result:

The products I used:
*2 coats French Tip Dip Bright White for thumb
*1 coat China Glaze Midnight Mission for artwork on thumb
*1 coat Hard Candy Matte-ly In Love top coat over blue artwork

*2 coats Wet N' Wild Black Creme
*2 coats FTD Bright White for tips
*OPI Dazzle for gromets
*Kiss nail art paint in black for tip stripe and white for laces

I LOVE my Converse shoes and am so ready to add more to the mix :-)
