Tips - Scrangie Inspired

After an hour attempt at a fishnet fabric theme, i pulled it all off and gave up on fabrics for now.
I think I'll do some tips :-)
I have a whole file folder full of inspiration. Out of all of them, Scrangies fit my mood tonight. Plus it was super simple! Took me about 30 minutes to hunt down her link to this *phew*

Polishes:
*W&W Black
*Pure Ice Free Spirit

Animals - Monkey

Shit is bananas! B-A-N-A-N-A-S!
(stuck in your head now, right?)
Kinda reminds me of the crazy monkey's on Jumanji, yea?
Lol. They didn't turn out cute and cuddly. And my fimo's were being total bitches and not doing what I wanted.
So after throwing every 4-letter word at my nail art last night, I was so frustrated that I skipped out on taking pictures and uploading them last night. So I'll present them today!

I also skipped on explaining all the polishes I used :-s

Gosh why is it that you don't notice issues until you see the pics? So please excuse the scratch on my middle finger. The joys of a playful kitten :-)

And to further get the song stuck in your head...

Animals - Piggy In Pink

Day 2 in my animal week of manicures. I did pigs! All my light pinks were so translucent that the two shades I chose were so close its hard to see the detail.

My inspiration came again, from Simply Rins.
She has some amazing art work!

I was given a HUGE tub of about 75 polishes from my aunt on Christmas Eve, mostly OPI. I've found some pretty gorgeous ones. Tonight's brown came from the collection.

Went for 2 accent nails tonight, stray from my usual

Hand dotted white dots

I used:
*OPI Shim-Merry Chic
*Sinful Colors Beautiful Girl
*Pure Ice Peony
*W&W Sally Hansen Whirlwind White
(thanks for the mistake pointing Liz :-p)
*Kiss nail art paint in black
*Off brand yellow fimo bow

Day 31 - Recreated Your Favorite Challenge

Aww I'm actually kind of sad to see this challenge end :-(
Even though I can totally do it again or start a new one and not like I won't be doing my nails darn near every day anyway but I actually stuck to this for 31 days! I'm kinda proud of myself!

So, I really loved my Floral manicure. I decided to recreate floral. Here you go and thank you so much everyone for following.  I have a whole HUGE list of nail art ideas to come, so stay tuned!

Day 30 - Inspired By A Tutorial

Out of all the tutorials I've seen, I'd say Robin Moses stands out most. I've wanted to do corset nails for a while and just loved her tutorial. And I always tend to poke fun at really super long nails, calling them "hooker" nails (sorry if I offend anyone!). So this could be my hooker nails :-)
So here is my design inspired by her tutorial.

The final product:

The products I used:
*1 coats Petites Island Smoothie
*Wet N Wild Black Cream
*Accent nail is also W&W Black Cream with Kleancolors Chunky Holo Purple and Sally Hansen DS Diamonds and a Playboy Bunny fimo from Bundle Monster
*Corset grommets are Avon Gunmetal
*Corset strings and fluff are acrylic paint in Portrait Pink

Bundle Monster Haul = IN LOVE

The first thing I ever bought from Bundle Monster was my awesome first stamping kit, which is the ONLY set I have. I refuse to spend more when these are better. Then I added on, non beauty related, a kindle leather case and kindle skin. Love love love them. Amazing quality products.
Well now I get to show off more of their goodies for you! I won't use it all today, but rather just show a small sample then as days go by, I'll add them into my manicures and smother you with pictures.

First off, a HUGE thank you to Bundle Monster. They have amazing products, even better customer service (always the plus for me) and fast shipping! Wonderful company to buy from and not just on beauty products. Check out their site for all sorts of good products!

Don't forget to follow them on Twitter and Facebook too!

Now onto the goodies!
Each link will direct you to the product you see :-)
 The whole package I got.

There is even Hello Kitty Fimo's! I cannot wait to use these :-)

Day 18 - Half Moons

I thought this was going to be an easy manicure.
I found myself thinking of a way to make it artistic but sheesh, why?
So I decided on Matte colors. Easy right? NOPE!
First off, I couldn't find my paper grommets so I tried yard sale tags which wouldn't conform to my nails.
I ended up at Walmart at 11:30 at night just to hunt down more paper grommets.
I get home and they're so sticky that they peel off my base color even after a 30 minute dry time!
So then I tried a fast dry top coat thinking it could peel the top coat if it wanted but would leave my base alone.
Then there goes my matte. Well hello! I have a matte top coat!
Wow. Just wow. So after what should have been a simple half moon manicure, here is my final result and the progress:

The products I used:
*2 coats Avon Red VelvetMatte
*1 coat Avon Black as Night Matte
*1 coat Hard Candy Matte-ly In Love Top Coat

The base:
