Cherry Hearts

Wow delay in posting again! Here come a few more :-)

First up is cherry hearts. I did a bright red base the sponged some dark vamp red on the tips and focused a tiny tiny bit more on the very tip for a little more accent. Loved the way it turned out. Then hand painted acrylic cherry hearts! And can't forget the accent nail with the same red base then some black Avon crackle over the top.

Onto my delayed posts. These nails, I did 2 nights ago. Last night I tried a flame style which turned out just awful, so I refuse to post pictures of that manicure. So here is 2 nights ago crackle manicure.

It had been a long time since Id done a crackle or a vampire red so I mixed them!

 Almost makes me wanna add CH Fairy Dust and pretend its Edward, phew....is it hot in here??

Comparision : Vampy Reds

Ok Vampire Fans! I got a new red today. after looking at the bottle, I realized just how much it looked like my Rimmel Red Lava. So here is my first comparison!

Rimmel Lava Red, 2 coats. First coat looks almost brown.

This also has the wide brushes which Im still trying to get used to.

Avon's Wicked, 2 coats. The first coat covered gorgeous but I did 2 coats anyway. In most lights I used, it almost looks black. But the flash catches the red for you ;-)

The bottle view, they almost look identical. But on the nails you can clearly see that Wicked is much darker.

These are all WITHOUT top coats. They still had a nice shine to them!

Had to tease you with a top coat of China Glaze Wireless Holographic Top Coat. Its my favorite!

Lazer - Tag!

In the tradition of my sweet friend Jess, I'll add my polish art too! I'm very new at this so bear with me!

I'm a huge fan of my Sally Hansen HD polish. I only have one, Lazer. that's what this would be ;-)

2 coats of Sinful Colors Black on Black with only 1 layer of Lazer. Take out the black polish and this becomes a much brighter blue/purple. The camera isn't even showing the purple hues of this polish. Its just goregous! And of course, I have CG Millenium art tips.

Outside, cloudy. Sun would make it look so much better but in WA that bright light in the sky is few and far between!

All in all I give it a 4 out of 5 rating because the first layer goes on uneven. The second coat of Lazer will even it out though.
