More Robin Moses Inspired

I just love me some Robin Moses nail art.
I came across this one on Pinterest (yep, again) and had to try it.
Mine didn't come out as awesome as hers but I generally like it.

Skull stamped with Bundle Monster plate and W&W Black. Tips are also W&W Black. Silver art polish accent. Sinful Colors pink.

Tips - Minnie Mouse

I've rocked these tips the past 3 days with no chipping, yay! Always love it when that happens. A mocha gal even said, "They remind me of Minnie Mouse!" Uh yea! That's what they are!

Although the shape of my nails are changing so my smile lines aren't as perfect as I'd like them to be.
Used my French Tip Dip, OPI Red and Wet N Wilds black and white.

Feeling A Little Retro

I'm not sure why but this manicure has me feeling like I just stepped out of an old-school New Kids On the Block concert...had an inspiration photo stashed away and decided to give it a go.

Loving it!

Used ORLY Dazzle, Sinful Colors Cream Pink and Kiss nail art paint in black.

I just love the coverage of this ORLY. It kicks butt. Sadly, I did my nails last night before bed and already at noon today, I've chipped a nail (the paint not the nail itself, luckily!). My nail art has been taking such a beating lately! I'm lucky if I can squeeze a full 24 hours out of it before it chips. I think my SV TC is failing me!

Tips - Orange Hello Kitty

I'm feeling the summer fever! At request, I did another Hello Kitty manicure.
Similar to my last but better, I think.
My kitty is sporting orange today!

Thanks to my French Tip Dip, I have an awesome kitty and tips!
Plus, fimo bows this time (instead of acrylic paint).

Tips - Black & Whote Polka Dot / TipFrench Tip Dip Wars!

The best tool ever is having a dipping war!

Here is what I went for...

All Wet N' Wild colors (black and white)
Oh, and if you're near a Rite Aid, check them out...might be on clearance. I got mine for $0.69 each!
I use these two colors so often and they are the best IMO so I stocked up and bought all they had :-)

And just for giggles, just the white tips (not, the white stripe on the black tips isn't with the tool - that was clearly freehand by a wobbly hand) ICKY stained nails! EWWWW!

Oh right, I also stamped the flutterby and pinned a rhinestone.
I feel like Im repeating everything!
You all have seen all these techniques so do I really need  to explain it all?
Naw! Just ask if I don't say something you want to know :-p

Polka Dots - Pale Blue

Another night of spending a good 20 minutes surfing through my nail photos to decide what I should do on my nails. I landed with polka dots (i seem to have the most ideas with these and french tips).

I used ORLYSnowcone as the base color, then large dotted with French Tip Dip white, then small dotted with Wet N Wild Black
My accent nail is the W&W black base, then I French Tip Dipped Snowcone on, then small dotted in the same W&W black. From there I added Kiss nail art paint in silver as a stripe across the bottom edge of the blue tip. Then added a cute fimo flower (I've had my eye on this flower since I got it and hadn't come across a manicure I could add it to. Until now!

Tips - Teal / White

My husband and I have his work party tomorrow so I figured I would go more simple, less eye-catching as I'm not a huge fan of any attention, let alone from people I've never met. So tonight I did a simple white tip french with a twist. I had to add a sheer pink as a base because my darn nails are so ugly stained! EWWW!!

Products Used:
*OPI Who Needs A Prince
*SH Whiteout White
*China Glaze Adore
*W&W black
*off brand clear rhinestones
*SV top coat

I put on the OPI, then the classic white tip. From there I added the CG in a triangle shape on one half of my nails (my other hand's triangles are on the opposite side). Then used a medium dotting tool with the black and finished with clear rhinestones and a top coat. Simple yet cute and even a tad elegant, which my manly hands could always use a dose of!

Tips - Scrangie Inspired

After an hour attempt at a fishnet fabric theme, i pulled it all off and gave up on fabrics for now.
I think I'll do some tips :-)
I have a whole file folder full of inspiration. Out of all of them, Scrangies fit my mood tonight. Plus it was super simple! Took me about 30 minutes to hunt down her link to this *phew*

Polishes:
*W&W Black
*Pure Ice Free Spirit
*Finger Paints Phychedelic
*Off brand fimo bows

Animals - Hooters :-)

Ok get your mind out of the gutter! It's just owls!

I'm really liking this color combo and polka dots going on...

Kinda dark but I used Color Club New Bohemian, SH Whirlwind White, OPI Suzi Loves Cowboys and Decades of Shades, CG Fairy Dust and OPI Who Needs A Prince? Plus, of course, a dotting tool :-)

Day 23 - Inspired By A Movie

I've had this manicure planned from the get go.
Then it changed come time for the mani (like most of my ideas).
I have to admit how much I really dislike stamping.
Maybe I need to invest in GOOD stamping polish but my prints never come out fully intact!
Either way, the mani was fun to do and that's what whole point!

My movie inspiration:

The products I used:
*Right hand - China Glaze Admire base + Something Sweet stamp,
China Glaze Blue Island Ice tea base + Millennium tips,
French Tip Dip Bright White base, Sinful Colors Sugar Sugar stamp
*Left hand - FTD Bright White base + Sinful Colors Sugar Sugar art and stamp,
Wet N' Wild Black Cream base + FTD Bright White dots

Base colors before the art:
Left hand-
 Right hand-

Art added:
Left hand-

Left hand inspiration:
Romy's outfit :-)

Right hand-

(Oh yay. here go the sideways pics again! It's becoming a tradition, I guess!)

My inspiration:
The dresses!
My thumb has cherries for an early scene where Michele wears cherry earrings.

So even though my stamping came out sloppy it was still a fun manicure to play with.
And if you haven't seen Romy & Michele's High School Reunion yet, you MUST!
