Tips - Classic Purple

I was in a rush with little time to do my nails.

But I got my new avon order in and had to show off this new purple.

*swoons*

So I whipped out my French Tip Dip and came out with these cute tips!

(please excuse the bubbled top coat--we were running a little thick that night!)

Color is Avon Perplexed Purple.

Tiger Striped Pink Tips

Another fun french tip manicure.

I decided I loved y last tips with crazy color combos so I went crazy color with these too!

But first, the base in Avon something blue with hand painted stripes in black

Then the awesome tips added with the French Tip Dip

Tips - Orange Hello Kitty

I'm feeling the summer fever! At request, I did another Hello Kitty manicure.

Similar to my last but better, I think.

My kitty is sporting orange today!

Thanks to my French Tip Dip, I have an awesome kitty and tips!

Plus, fimo bows this time (instead of acrylic paint).

Avon Springtime Tips

Well after I saw the new Avon Spring colors I had to buy them.

I opted out of the pink as I have lots of pinks already and don't wear those often.

(Right, like I dont have enough of every color!)

So after applying them, I decided that darker tips on them would look cool.

So I sifted through my stash and pick some darker shades and this is what we have.

Crooked Heart Triple Tips

Wow that title is a mouthful!

Here is another Valentine's Day manicure.

I'm loving these because I love hearts.

I suck at drawing or painting them though, I just don't have a steady hand.

Loving Snoopy

In honor of my first Art Contest, I decided to get started on my whole list of Valentine manicures.

I've had this snoopy one on my mind for a while and thought this would be perfect to kick the contest off.

I'm not artist by any means but Snoopy turned out pretty cute I must say.

Although, on my left hand (using my dominant right to so the art - duh), Snoopy kind of looks like he has down syndrome or something. Or maybe baby Snoopy? Either way, totally cute for me lacking major skills!

I've also realized that my nails really do have a deep C curve to them because  I had to take two pictures of two angles just so you could actually see both sides of snoopy's face :-s

I started off with SH Whirlwind White, then sponged on Avon Spendid Blue (super gorgeous!)

Then all acrylics after that, which you can see my strokes.

And yes, I did a different pose on my right hand.

Thats right! I managed to get a picture of my right hand (after about 15 snaps!)

Purple, purple and more purple + Tutorial

Yea, its purple manicure time. I did these 2 nights ago and they're still chip free. Hence why I didnt post a new mani last night. Check out these purdy mamas with tutorial to follow.

For this manicure, grab a light base color.

I chose Avon Loving Lavender.

Then add a sparkly tip in a darker but same color glitter.

I chose Color Club Tru Passion.

Then with an even darker shade in the same color, draw a stripe across the bottom of your glitter edge.

I chose Love & Beauty Dark Purple.

Then with that same darkest color, draw 45 degree angled stripes. I did 2 on each finger except for my middle finger as that is the accent nail.

Then take a silver glitter and go between your dark stripes. I also added a stripe below the purple one on the accent nail.

Here i chose Kiss nail art paint in silver.

Then I added a light purple fimo bow on the accent nail along with a clear rhinestone on its center.

Then a light purple and clear rhinestone on every other nail.

Chose two color rhinestones that match what colors you chose.

Top coat and you're done!

Doesn't this look like it belongs in a glue on box in the stores? I LOVE it!

Animals - Turtles

More fun critters! Multi-colored turtles!

I used almost all colors from my new Avon haul (post coming soon)

and also had some inspiration, so this idea isnt me.

I also added some Finger Paints Flakies to the shells for more purdiness!

Fabric - Torn Demin Jeans

Inspired by this tutorial, I added a second day to the fabrics theme. 

Turned out pretty darn cute even with many interruptions during the painting :-)

I also added a zipper stamp in copper on my thumbs but its so hard to see so I won't even highlight that for you.

Holiday French Tips

I felt like a simple manicure tonight after so many crazy lengthy ones.

Borrowing the idea from Chalkboard Nails although hers are so much cuter. Love her green!

After seeing hers, I couldn't get it out of my head. The color and gloss/matte combo just drew me in.

Anyway, here's my attempt.
