Mariners Baseball Nails

In celebration of our families first Mariners baseball game at the stadium, I went with home team colors. 

Navy blue, teal and of course, baseballs!

Navy blue and teal nails were gradient sponged.

Go Mariners!

Please ignore the chipped polish and cut on my pinky. This is sadly what a day at work did to my hard work :-( But I had to show off my new camera as well as the ball field in the background!

Tips - Neon Glitter

Inspired by a manicure I saw on Pinterest. Although that one was acrylic so it looked perfect.

Mine came out too thick because of all the layers of glitter I applied to try and get the same affect. Needless to say, I only wore this manicure half a day because the thickness bugged me so bad. But It was a cute idea at least.

Cherry Hearts

Wow delay in posting again! Here come a few more :-)

First up is cherry hearts. I did a bright red base the sponged some dark vamp red on the tips and focused a tiny tiny bit more on the very tip for a little more accent. Loved the way it turned out. Then hand painted acrylic cherry hearts! And can't forget the accent nail with the same red base then some black Avon crackle over the top.

Holo Glitter Purple Batman!

So I've heard all this talk about Forever 21 and how awesome their polish is. Silly secluded me was thinking it was no where near me. Come to find out, the mall 30 minutes away has the store! Disappointed to say they lack desperately in the in-stock polish. I did manage to score about 7 polished for under $20 though. Including this super awesome purple which they have sadly named Dark Purple. Really? A color this awesome and you give it a blah name like that?! Sheesh. I shall call you Da Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Batman Purple! :-p And you will be mine.

So without further delay, I give you Da Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Batman Purple (aka Dark Purple *yawn*)

The products I used:

*2 coats Love & Beauty Dark Purple *yawn again* (aka Da Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Batman Purple)

*Wet N' Wild white for accent nail

*Wet N' Wild black for sponged tips

*Wet N' Wild clear with flex holo on accent and tips

*Bundle Monster purple rhinestones

*Off brand purple rhinestones

Before the sponging:

 Almost looks blue, but I promise, its purple purple purple :-)

 Wowzer, how awesome is this color! And the camera isn't even picking up the best of it!

 I love how the light catches the glitter on both the holo tips and the purple!

And this polish was only $2.80! Talk about a good deal!

Day 10 - Gradient Nails

Accidently skipping day 10 yesterday, I'm doing it today. Gradient Nails!

I started with the same pink base but had a much dark blurple and it clashed too much for my taste.

So I started over.

The polishes I used:

*3 coats OPI The Show Must Go On!

*2 coats Hard Candy Beetle

I used an eyeshadow stick to sponge the Beetle on.

Day 7 - Black & White Nails

I was super excited to try this challenge because I read a blog here with a gorgeous example!

I refuse to spend a lot of money on simple blacks or white so 

I only used Wet N' Wild's black and white for this one. They worked great!

*2 coats WW white cream

*Dabbed WW black cream and OPI dazzle

Again, my phone flipped a few pictures and I have no idea why! I re-flipped them in my phone and my computer shows them right side up but blogger seems to dislike that and make me look silly :-)
