Happy New Year!

Happy New year everyone!
I did this manicure last night but was so tired, I skipped blogging it until today.
I also strayed from my week of animals so I could be festive for tonight but don't worry, I still have 2 more days of animals to come!

Today's manicure is especially for New Years. The dropping ball and fireworks!

I skipped adding all the polished I used because there were a lot. Phew!
Happy New year everyone and stay safe!

Animals - Panda Bears

With some more inspiration from Simply Rins, I decided on Panda Bears.
I added a colored background as well as mouths on them. No where near perfect like hers but still cute :-)
I also added a Bamboo accent nail because no Panda is complete without food!

The stuffs
*OPI Red
*Sinful Colors Envy
OPI Decades of Shades
*SH Whiteout White
*W&W Black
*kiss nail art paint in white

Animals - Hooters :-)

Ok get your mind out of the gutter! It's just owls!

I'm really liking this color combo and polka dots going on...

Kinda dark but I used Color Club New Bohemian, SH Whirlwind White, OPI Suzi Loves Cowboys and Decades of Shades, CG Fairy Dust and OPI Who Needs A Prince? Plus, of course, a dotting tool :-)

Animals - Frogs

Day 3 in my personal challenge of animals. Again, I'm not liking how my frogs came out but I'm loving the accent nail!

Scentsy Pay It Forward

Did you know that 100% of the proceeds to Scentsy's Charitable Buddy, Sasha go straight to the Ronald McDonald House Charities®? That's right.
With Scentsy having over 200,000 active consultants, if each one of us purchased a Sasha Buddy, Scentsy would raise at least $500,000 to donate to them! WOW!

Even better, if customers joined in on this donation. Scentsy has asked us consultants to ALL purchase just one Sasha Buddy and those of us attending this years convention, to bring that Buddy and donate the bear to charity (on top of the money that Scentsy will be raising from its sales).

So please join us thousands of consultants and other Scentsy fans in purchasing just one Sasha Buddy. If you don't have any need for a good smelling stuffed animal, gift it to a friend or family member. If you still have no need for that, please take the time to donate the animal to a local charity or even pass it along to the first kiddo you see while you're out in public.

This can be our fun Scentsy smelling version of Pay It Forward.
So by you purchasing a Sasha Buddy, Scentsy will earn $30 to donate directly to Ronald McDonald House Charities® but you'll have the chance to take that Buddy and make someones day very special, even if its for yourself :-)

Did I mention that this isn't just any stuffed animal? Nope! Sasha comes with your choice of one of 40 different Scent Pak's to be included with her. Its a small scent pouch that you place in her belly and you'll have an awesome smelling stuffed animal for months to come.

Wanna see this totally cute snuggly bear? Here you go!

Click any of the links above to go directly to the Sasha Buddy ordering page of my website and start helping today! Your support is greatly appreciated!

It's time to Pay It Forward!

Animals - Piggy In Pink

Day 2 in my animal week of manicures. I did pigs! All my light pinks were so translucent that the two shades I chose were so close its hard to see the detail.

My inspiration came again, from Simply Rins.
She has some amazing art work!

I was given a HUGE tub of about 75 polishes from my aunt on Christmas Eve, mostly OPI. I've found some pretty gorgeous ones. Tonight's brown came from the collection.

Went for 2 accent nails tonight, stray from my usual

Hand dotted white dots

I used:
*OPI Shim-Merry Chic
*Sinful Colors Beautiful Girl
*Pure Ice Peony
*W&W Sally Hansen Whirlwind White
(thanks for the mistake pointing Liz :-p)
*Kiss nail art paint in black
*Off brand yellow fimo bow

Animals - Not Your Average Bear

Now that Christmas is over, I can get back to random manicures. I've decided to try my own challenges, starting this week off with Animals.

So today's manicure is bears. Not the typical average Teddy bear as these guys don't look too much into snuggling but are still awesome.
Found the inspiration at Let's Polish Some Nails

The products
*2 coats Color Club Nomadic in Nude base
*OPI La Boheme for bear
*Color Club Earthy Angel for nose
*W&W White for eyes and ears

Snowflake Tips

Yes! Another tipped manicure! I should start calling it Tipmania :-p
Today's inspiration came right from I'm Feeling Nail-venturous. Came across her manicure and again, like last nights mani, couldn't get it out of my head. Certain ideas just get stick there and I have to try them or else it will bug me! I'm so glad I did them because WOW! She had such an amazing idea and even on me, I think it came out awesome!

The goodies to get this done
*2 tip coats of China Glaze Bahamian Escape
*2 tip coats Sinful Colors Hottie
*1 coat China Glaze Fairy Dust
*Stamped with Bundle Monster plate 14 in SH Insta-Dri Whirlwind White
*Off brand blue rhinestones

More goodness

I added the rhinestones for a lil extra bling so I wasn't totally copying IFNV and plus, I've been really enjoying rhinestone accents lately.

Hottie applied in a gel-like application. It made my tips a bit thicker than the rest of the nail bed but a thick top coat kind of evened it out. It turned out beautiful over Bahemian Escape and Fairy Dust over it though :-)

Tiara Tips

Not exactly holiday colors but for some reason, teal does remind me of Christmas when I was little.
My mom had bought a large package of wrapping paper that had these glittery teals, purples, pinks and greens in it. So it does remind me at least.

I originally got inspired by My Nail Graffiti's manicure but went with a teal tip instead of a blue tip. Both look great I think though. She did an amazing job.

 The products I used
*2 coats OPI Yodel Me On My Cell base color and tips
*1 coat China Glaze Loreli's Tiara glitter coat
(I feel kinda naked without any art or embellishments or rhinestones but I was pooped after 3 hours of wrapping presents and only being half way done)

More pics

You can kind of see Yodel peeking through Tiara, yea? I thought Yodel as a base gave it a really pretty hue to it :-)

Tiara also applied really nice. Even with one coat of top coat, its not too rough like many glitters. I must say, I am impressed!

Looks gorgeous in natural sunlight but my camera is just no good for capturing that.

Sugar Plum Presents

Bought this Color Club Sugar Plum Yum a while back and have been needing to use it.
I'm kinda impressed with the scent. Even with a thick top coat, I can still smell the fruitiness of it!
Chunky as all get out though.
I also added a present accent nail. The purple base seemed to bleed into the silver ribbon though so it looks like purple silver :-s
Darn manicures never come out the way I intended! Still eye candy though!

Check her out!

*Accent nail, 2 coats W&W Fast Dry Buffy the Violet Slayer +
