Tips - Minnie Mouse

I've rocked these tips the past 3 days with no chipping, yay! Always love it when that happens. A mocha gal even said, "They remind me of Minnie Mouse!" Uh yea! That's what they are! 

Although the shape of my nails are changing so my smile lines aren't as perfect as I'd like them to be.

Used my French Tip Dip, OPI Red and Wet N Wilds black and white.

Yep, I've been MIA the past few weeks. Still doing my nails, just not much time to blog them. Yay for starting training to take over my dads business in a year!

Anywho, I've since forgotten which colors I've used but here we goooooo.......

Fun tips! For my accent nail, I dipped a thin brush in white and flicked it back and forth to get this affect. Got so many compliments on this manicure.

I seriously hate the way my camera won't catch some true colors. 

This is BRIGHT PURPLE and light blue...yet they both look blue. 

So much prettier in person than on these pics, I promise!

Again, tons of compliments.

(I think people are caught off guard by a female in this field when is usually only guys so they're paying more attention, lol)

A random holo red tip mani. Wasn't too fond of this one. Just didn't "pop" enough for my taste...

Tips - Orange Hello Kitty

I'm feeling the summer fever! At request, I did another Hello Kitty manicure.

Similar to my last but better, I think.

My kitty is sporting orange today!

Thanks to my French Tip Dip, I have an awesome kitty and tips!

Plus, fimo bows this time (instead of acrylic paint).

Tips - Hello Kitty

Time for some cute Hello Kitty tips.

Please excuse the ugly orange stained nails but the Hello Kitty is totally cute.

Tips done with French Tip Dip tool and their Bright White.

Kiss nail art paint striper in silver across the base of the tip.

Acrylic for the rest.

 Please excuse the dorky hand form. 

I somehow managed to smudge darn near every tip while drying so many repairs had to be done, including the horrible smudge on the silver stripe on my pointer finger. I re-striped over the smudge so that stripe is mucht thicker. Figured I try and picture it at an angle so you cant tell :-p

Loving Snoopy

In honor of my first Art Contest, I decided to get started on my whole list of Valentine manicures.

I've had this snoopy one on my mind for a while and thought this would be perfect to kick the contest off.

I'm not artist by any means but Snoopy turned out pretty cute I must say.

Although, on my left hand (using my dominant right to so the art - duh), Snoopy kind of looks like he has down syndrome or something. Or maybe baby Snoopy? Either way, totally cute for me lacking major skills!

I've also realized that my nails really do have a deep C curve to them because  I had to take two pictures of two angles just so you could actually see both sides of snoopy's face :-s

I started off with SH Whirlwind White, then sponged on Avon Spendid Blue (super gorgeous!)

Then all acrylics after that, which you can see my strokes.

And yes, I did a different pose on my right hand.

Thats right! I managed to get a picture of my right hand (after about 15 snaps!)
