It's Time To Reclaim

My wonderful friend Jessica found this for sale on another blog for me. I got it for a great deal.
It's Nubar Reclaim. A minty green holographic polish. It applied amazingly with just one coat!
I have to say that my lines came out very clean. I had very little clean up to do afterward.
I'm so impressed with this polish and can't wait to do more creative things with it!
I'm not a huge fan of greens, as I prefer much darker colors on my hands but I can't keep my eyes off my nails! I think they're just gorgrous!

I'm so impressed that I give this polish a 5 out of 5! Go Nubar Reclaim!

Glue Time

So I have really been into the glue-on's. Most are just gorgeous and look just as good, if not better, than a salon manicure for only about $6!

These are by Bella Nails. Medium length which is a tad long for me but these flexed much easier than most so I had no gaps! (My pointer fingers are very curved so I always had a gap at the back or front) I also tried brush-on glue this time, which bonded super fast!

The tips are blue sparkled. Very pretty and natural looking!

Seriously, my poor pinky needs straightening surgery!

I give these a 5 out of 5 for flexability and looks!

It's Time For A Revvoloution!

Love me some black. Love me some holographic. Color Club gave it! This color went on great with just one coat but I did two then a quick dry tc. I love it! The white tip was just me trying out frech wraps.

Back To Bermuda!

Well I was in a total holographic mood tonight because I have an event tomorrow.
I decided on China Glaze holo Keleidascope Him Out as my base with CG Bermuda Breakaway as my tips.
Base is 3 coats, tips are 1 coat (not stamped).
I tried stamping the tips but it was coming out way lighter than I wanted.
So I went freehand, which is crooked and whatnot but oh well! It was fun anyway!

After I tried the CG BB with a konad tip, which came out too light, I tried SC Black tips. Again, too light.
But Instead of removing all my base, I removed just the tip colors which left splotches. So Please ignore those imperfections.

I LOVE this holo, just as I did the green. And Im a huge blue fan so it came out gorgeous. Now if I could just get a steady hand so I dont have ziggy lines!

Rating 4 of 5!

Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend

So I came across a gorgeous layering here. I have yet to find Sally's Navy Venom so I settled for Sally's Blazing Blue as the base coat. But I do have OPI DS Diamonds so here was my version.
And i will add that Sally's Insta-Dry is pretty amazing. I haven't gotten used to the wide brush but one coat and this polish covers your nail!
The Blazing Blue has the very slightest shimmer and DS Diamonds is a holographic.
Jess knows Im soooo into holos right now so I was excited to finally find this polish.
This mani is 2 coats of SH ID Blazing Blue, 1 coat OPI DS Diamonds

My funky bathroom "natural" light, no flash

Same as above, just more clear :-p

All in all I give this mani only a 3. My fast dry top coat smeared the DS Diamonds slightly, which irritated me. Im tempted to re-do it but thats a lot of work! So Ill just be irritated until my next mani :-p

I will try and add an outdoor pic to this. I think it will make a big difference.

Blue In Bermuda

Now to my latest, done 2 nights ago and still going strong.
Yes, I have a huge problem with chipping. Im just super rough with my hands I guess!

Probably my most favorite blue yet.
Took 2 coats and came out gorgeous in its own. Next time I'll snag a pic without the holo over it ;-)
I introduce China Glaze Bermuda Breakaway!
And of course, i topped off with CG Holo TC!

5 out of 5 polishes for gorgeous color and application and wear!

Fall into Fall

Wow I got behind!
Ok so I did these nails a couple weeks ago for a Fall Bazaar I did.
China Glaze Breakin as the base, 2 coats.
Avon Matte Red Velvet and China Glaze Gussied Up Green for leaf stamps.
Then for a final touch, i added China Glaze Wireless Holographic top coat over the leaves only.

4 out of 5 polishes for gorgeous color. Wear wasnt as long as I wish but it took the stamps like a champ!
